Dallas Airports: What You Need to Know
There are two main airports in Dallas: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL).
DFW Airport is the larger of the two and offers more nonstop flights, especially for international travelers. It’s located roughly halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth, making it convenient if you plan to explore both cities or stay near the suburbs.
Dallas Love Field, on the other hand, is smaller and closer to downtown Dallas, making it ideal if you plan to stay in the city. Most Southwest Airlines flights arrive and depart from Love Field, so it’s often a great choice for domestic travelers looking for quick, easy access.
If you’re renting a car, DFW has more options on-site, while Love Field is easier to navigate and typically less crowded. Both airports are about 20–30 minutes from major Dallas attractions, depending on traffic.
The wedding venue is just 19.7 miles away!
